No Bullshit

Hello.

It's me again. And this time it's just a makeup post. I'm just gonna share some makeup items that I found lately that I think are amazingly good and I'm sure if you guys tried them out you won't be disappointed.

Number 1 on my list the the Ellis Faas Foundation. I discovered this two weeks ago and I'm pretty sure I won't be using another brand of foundation. It creates a dewy, flawless look. No lumpiness, no chunky layering. Just a second skin. Try it and see for yourself :-)

The makeup I used in the above photo includes Mac eyeshadows in Carbon and Espresso, blended with a light bone colour on the brow bone. Nars blush in Orgasm, and Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick in Charme.

Number 2 on the list is the Chanel Blush Horizon De Chanel. It is such a nice shade and gives the perfect shade of pink for freshness and allure.

Number 3 on is the range of Chanel lipsticks in the Rouge Coco range. It's just so hydrating and beautiful and the shades are to die for. Even on my super dry lips they don't leave those ugly creases and lumps. Just a smooth blend of colour.

A few items purchased, could not help myself :-)

Number 4 would be any of Nars eyeshadows, they are just so satiny smooth and blend so well, I haven't come across another brand that does eyeshadows as well as they do...

Well I hope I inspired you guys to try a few things that stand out in the market this season. You won't regret these recommendations. I don't share for the sake of selling a brand, but only to assist you guys in finding the best stuff out there without the bullshit :-P

Something Different

Hello.

Long time no see! It's been a while... I have just been so busy with work that I haven't had time at all for myself and this hobby. It has been on my mind though all these months and I do miss this blogging world. Being away has given me time to reflect and think about my page and what direction I'd like to take it to. I do notice that many other blogs have consistency with their posts, whereas mine is a bit of a mish mash of different things that I post about, and I sometimes wonder if I should streamline it a bit. But my moods change so fast that I can't just stick to one thing, and there are way too many exciting things around that it's just too hard to focus.

One thing is for sure though; a blog should be personal. The more personal and individual a blog is the more I can't help but love it.

I would like to ask you guys a question? Don't you think that there are a bit too many blogs around looking very fabulous and pretty, but very much like the trendy other blogger next door? It frustrates me because I see girls wearing the same kinda clothes and styling themselves well but something is missing. That special "je ne sais quoi"... I think the problem is people are playing it safe to be accepted. I don't want to be safe. I want to be crazy. I want Chanel in the dark and heels in the mud.

So I'll set that as my challenge; to keep this blog as personal and individual as possible. A bit of the boring side, a bit of the sweet side, and a bit of the bitchy side somewhere in between :-) Can't be too hard just being yourself can it? Hmmm...
