Red Hair.

Hello.


I finally coloured my hair red! Yay! I have been wanting this colour for quite some time, especially when I saw it on actress Ariana Grande from Nickelodeon who is just so cute and adorable!


I have to say, I went to 3 hairdressers, colouring it 4 times before the last girl got it this colour. I find it so strange how I can show the colourist a photo and she can't even get it red! How?! And they were supposed to be good salons?! I guess the "brand" of a store means nothing because it's all in the hands of the hairdresser.


So, this is how it finally turned out. I think when I redo the roots I will make it just a touch darker but I like her efforts and the results :-) It's got a vibrant cherry tinge to it. And she didn't use bleach to get this colour into my darker hair, which a few salons said they needed to do. Strange. And she was much cheaper too which I was really happy about. So it is just my luck that she is, and just my bad luck that I wasted so much money just to find her :-(

This was after the 1st attempt. She bleached the lower part of my hair and damaged it and I had to cut a few inches off my hair :-( It looks more coppery than red.

The icon herself, Ariana Grande :-) Isn't she adorable? Apparently the producers of the show wanted to make her hair colour just like a red velvet cupcake.
