I have an obsession with my hair. I love having it super long. I just think long hair is very feminine and can have a dramatic look without needing a dramatic haircut or colour. Having long hair also gives me a fear of hairdressers. You ask them to cut ONE inch and they cut FOUR! Maybe they failed Maths. Lol. JOKING! But seriously, they just love to cut and cut. I recall wanting a fringe once and it was so short it just looked like I had a hairy forehead. So yes, I fear hairdressers and their menacing, evil scissors!
My obsession with long hair became more engrained when I first laid eyes on Lara Croft... And I started to wonder... Why is she so damn hot? What is the appeal?!... My obsession with hair blind-sighted me past her massive boobs and went straight to her "French Braid". Aha! It's the hair!
I got a friend of mine to do my hair in these pics on the spur of the moment. She's quite talented and fortunately NOT a hairdresser. I think she did pretty well without using any hairspray or tools. I think next time I will experiment and try the "Dutch Braid" and the "Fishtail Braid"... And maybe carry a fake gun and some extra silicone... NOT! Enjoy :-)

ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with you! I think all hairdressers have the same problem, they always cut off too much hair. I usually ask my mom to trim my hair and she never cuts off more than I ask. But this time I wanted to get layers to frame my face (my hair was the same length) and my mom didn't know how to do it. So I went to the hairdresser and she cut 3 inches off instead of one. :(
