Old Favourites.

I noticed a couple of trends around. One is the animal print, and the other is bright coloured jeans. I hate following trends but I felt like wearing this today. The jacket is actually a very old purchase, years old that I can't even remember. And the denim I bought over a year ago while I was in Hong Kong, it's from Marc by Marc Jacobs and normally his range is very bright and full of colour anyway.


I suppose when I shop for things I shop depending on my mood rather than on what the current trends are. And I think that's a much safer way to shop because you are more likely to pick things you actually want rather than things that are new and well-displayed. Wouldn't we all rather wear the things we love, rather than the things everyone else has? And if you just so happen to be wearing it while everyone else is, at least you can rest assured that your favourite little jacket from years ago is less likely to be worn by someone else walking past on the street who most probably got hers from the well-displayed shop carrying all the current trends. In the end, it's all about being unique and feeling special.
